Done in the style of classic 80’s buddy cop shows such as Miami Vice and Starsky and Hutch, The Good Guys attempts to revive the genre that has been bogged down for far too long with the dark and gritty tone of every other procedural in existence.

The Good Guys stars Bradley Whitford and Colin Hanks (yes, Tom Hanks’ son) as two partners who have nothing in common. Whitford is a dead beat who is still on the force for something he did twenty five years ago and Hanks is the hot shot new up in comer with an attitude. The two of them fit the formula perfectly for dysfunctional buddy cop duo.
